Position Title: Machine Tool Builder
Purpose:
This position is responsible for assembly, alignment, testing, installation, and service of machine tools.
Position Demands:
At least five years of related work experience, or graduate of technical school or machine trades.
Good manual dexterity and ability.
Competence in reading blueprints, schematics and measuring tools.
Overall understanding of machine function; fit/alignments; problem-solving and mechanical aptitude. Familiar with CNC a plus.
Familiar with machine shop operations.
Safety oriented, common sense and effective communication skills.
As part of a team, this position is responsible for producing quality workmanship and assembling machines that adhere to specifications. This position also participates in general upkeep of common areas. Effective communication with other team members and customers is essential.
